ZT-100-B2 Electronics
The next generation of the loop-powered board — still two wires, still intrinsically safe, rebuilt around the energy budget
A Loop-Powered Board, Rebuilt Around Its Energy Budget
The ZT-100-B2 succeeds the ZT-100-B in the same role: two wires, 4–20 mA with HART, powered entirely from the loop. It keeps the intrinsically safe protection concept, and it keeps the mechanical interface, so it fits the enclosures and the measuring elements already in the range.
There is no display. On a loop-powered instrument the available energy is a fixed budget, and it belongs to the measurement rather than to a screen. Where a display is wanted at the instrument, the ZT-100-C is the board that carries one.

Hazardous Area
Intrinsically safe and general-purpose versions are planned. The intrinsically safe concept follows IEC 60079-11. Certification details will be published when the certificate issues — until then, see the ZT-100-B page for the certification currently in force in the range.
Not Sure Which Board Fits?
Tell us the power you have at the instrument, the signals your control system expects, and the area classification you are installing into. We will tell you which electronics fit — and which measuring elements go with them.
