Frequently Asked Questions

What is the measurement principle of the ZT-100?

The ZT-100 uses capacitance-based sensing technology to measure the dielectric properties of the fluid. Since water and oil have significantly different dielectric constants, changes in water content produce a measurable change in capacitance.

Can the ZT-100 be used in hazardous areas?

Yes. The ZT-100 is ATEX and IECEx certified for installation in Zone 1 and Zone 2 classified areas. It carries the marking Ex d IIB T4.

What output signals are available?

Standard output is 4-20mA analog with Modbus RTU (RS-485) digital communication. HART protocol is available as an option.

How often does the ZT-100 need recalibration?

Under normal operating conditions, the ZT-100 maintains its calibration for extended periods. We recommend a verification check annually, with full recalibration as needed based on your quality management requirements.

What pipe sizes are supported?

The F-Series and S-Series are inline measurement spools available from 1" to 48". The I-Series is an insertion probe for pipelines 6" and larger.

Do you provide commissioning support?

Yes. We offer remote commissioning assistance included with every unit, and on-site commissioning services are available upon request.

Need Technical Assistance?

Our engineering team is available to help with product selection, installation questions, troubleshooting, and recalibration services.
