The Board That Is In Service Today
The ZT-100-B is a two-wire, loop-powered transmitter. It takes its power from the same 4–20 mA loop that carries the reading, which means one pair of wires does everything and there is no separate supply to run to the instrument.
It is the variant with the longest service history in the range, and the one whose certification is in place. Where an installation is in a hazardous area today, this is the board that covers it.

Certification
Both general-purpose and hazardous-area versions are available. The hazardous-area version is intrinsically safe, and holds the following certification:

Installation is subject to the conditions of the certificate, including the use of intrinsic-safety barriers per the applicable control drawing. Contact us for the certificate and the control drawing before designing an installation.
The general-purpose version is the same measurement in the same enclosure, without the intrinsic-safety provisions, for areas that are not classified.
